UPDATE! Happy to change my two star to a FIVE STAR The salon was so accommodating and the nail tech was so apologetic. She took her time to redo the polish and round out my edges beautifully at no charge. She did a few extra rounds under the light as well to make sure they really cured properly this time. Couldn’t be happier! I LOVE this salon! This is the 2nd or 3rd time I’ve been to Miki’s. It’s SO close to my house and they have an amazing selection of gel options and pedicure choices. I was excited to be back in town after lots of work travel, so I hate that I have to leave a review like this. I went in Sunday afternoon and unfortunately my experience was not as great as my previous visit(s). I feel like my technician was maybe in a bit of a hurry which is understandable at the end of the day on a Sunday. I’m not sure if I got all of the things included in the pedicure option I chose because I was in and out in around an hour and it typically takes at least an hour and a half to two hours. The biggest disappointment unfortunately, was that I paid $118 all in by the end of the appointment for beautiful chrome nails, that promptly rubbed/lifted/peeled off in the shower Monday morning. As the polish came off, I also noticed some of my nails were not that shaped/filed where they were trimmed at all pointy angle, so maybe that was a factor. Mostly, it was clear the polish was too thick in spots so it didn’t cure properly and also was over the nail bed onto my skin and cuticles, which probably contributed as well. I have an appointment to go back tomorrow to have it fixed, but I’m a bit concerned because I was told I’d need to see the same technician to correct their work or I’d be charged which doesn’t feel right, so we’ll see how things go and hopefully I can come back with something positive.

Update: my nails did not peel or chip for 5 weeks! The grow out was terrible of course, but Miki did a great job on the polish. Highly recommend! I'm obsessed with how Miki Nails Salon did my nails! They are so perfect. Love the color, great service, easy to book same day, and their work has lasted great so far. I would definitely come back again!
